Re: Shadowcat / Cosmo
"I know. I keep telling you this." Mikhail said with gusto and a wry smile when she confirmed his correctness. If the overachieving professor bothered to listen to him once in a while, she'd notice he was full of wisdom.
They'd barely been there ten minutes and Comso could sense Shadowcat's tension drain out of her. In fact the Russian almost checked his shoe to make sure he hadn't stepped in any of it.
When Katherine's thoughts transitioned to the cosmos, Mikhail's expression shifted to a more earnest one. "This too is doable." He informed her, but quickly clarified his statement. "Not in fifteen minutes." The Russian teased with a smirk, but only about the time constraints.
Kitty toyed with his hand, like a kitty, and it caused Mikhail to give the phaser a second glance. Besides their dances, Shadowcat rarely engaged him with physical contact. When she began to move to the beat, he took notice and mirrored her impromptu dance. Then he watched their reflections move in the window. "Not bad." Mikhail pulled her more closely now, and their bodies moved in synchronicity. "The sunrise over the mountain is really worth seeing." He mentioned, fully aware she needed to return to class soon. Soon, being just then.
"Well Cinderella, I hope I granted your wish." Mikhail was confusing princesses, he knew. But he was literally only worried about the time because it mattered to Kitty. "Remind me to tell you story of Russian Cinderella, very different." He released Kitty only so that he could spin her out and finish with a bow and a kiss on the top of her hand. He rose, then opened his mouth once more. "I trust I did not 'take on you'." He added as an after thought.
