Re: Shadowcat / Cosmo
Mikhail's hands were up at the level of his shoulders, and his expression read as someone who had just shown up. He'd spent weeks only barely being able to get a small rise out of Kitty and suddenly she'd exploded into something more meaningful. Granted, it was aided by several outside forces, but progress was progress. His hands closed around either side of Katherine's shoulders while he listened and, more importantly, while he transported her into her classroom. The space would be private for longer than the hallway. "Katherine, look at me." The Russian insisted, through the tears that had fallen. "Zap cares too much about you to distance herself from you." Mikhail hoped his opinion of a third party would carry more weight, because Shadowcat understood he gave no fucks who cared about who. Cosmo enveloped Kitty in a hug, mostly to avoid having to watch the phaser cry, but also in hopes of stopping said weepiness. "Shhh," he patted the back of her head. "You don't believe me now but this will make you stronger, better person." Mikhail separated their embrace and turned to sit in the seat he assumed her star pupil sat in. "Because I can tell you've had bad day, for one time, and one time only... you may ask me any question you have about me... and I will actually answer it." Comso then smiled, as if this was an actual prize Kitty had won.
