Shadowcat / Zap
"I just wanted to," shaky sigh, "let you know." Kitty said, not feeling as amazing as she thought she would have after confessing she'd fooled around with Zap's "ex".
Eva's eyes watched Kitty's for a few moments, and then she moved to stand. Zap carefully rounded her desk and held her arms out to the younger woman, then bent down for a hug. "I know."
"You knew?" Kitty yelped, mid-hug. Oh god.
"But it's none of my business. Thank you for being honest with me though. I know you're just trying to be a good friend."
"It didn't mean anything!" Shadowcat reiterated, hands making a 'no no no' crisscrossing gesture before her.
Eva moved back and leaned against her desk and gave Kitty a sympathetic, semi-sad smile. "I had a feeling. But whatever you do now is your business. Okay?" Kitty was a grown-ass woman and didn't have to answer to anyone, girl-code or none. "I know Ronan and I have a long past, but I don't have some claim on him."
