Soph smiled, overjoyed at the events that had transpired. It wasn't everyday she went on a walk with someone and ended up getting kissed. The feel of David's fingers brushing against her cheek brought her back to reality slightly. She wanted to maintain contact, but didn't want to spook David anymore than she might have. Up until now, their contact had been mostly brief, but affectionate. This was an entirely different level of affection. He moved back from her and she kept her hands to herself.
"I promise I wouldn't have done with with just anyone who had responded on Facebook."
"I know you wouldn't have," she laughed a little, "I'm happy it was me."
She watched him for a few moments as he breathed and smiled at him as he continued. "I'm sorry," she said with an apologetic smile. "I got a little carried away." Her arms flailed slightly, "I've been wondering what that was going to be like." Kissing him, she meant. "It was wonderful and it was hard to stop."
