A smile touched Soph's lips as David recalled first Halloween party. That was one of the many things she liked about Xavier's. Everyone would try their hardest to make everyone feel at home.
Ziva snorted out a laugh when David told her who he was going as. "That's amazing. I hope you can find a suit that will cover your wrists and ankles," If not, they had people who could fix that sort of thing. She was definitely not one of those people.
When he mentioned Conlan and Morgan were going to be his sidekicks, she laughed out loud. That was going to be comedy gold. "I'm so excited to see you guys all dressed up."
"Oh, I've got a couple of ideas. Maybe a magician,' she laughed a little, "I wonder if Rhia could find me a rabbit," "Yeah, I've still got those scrubs. It's a good place to work." she agreed and took the last sip of her coffee.
Sophronia hadn't realized they'd gotten as far as they had, either. It was amazing how fast time went when you were enjoying yourself. "Yeah, sitting would be nice." Her hand grasped his once more and she held on a few moments longer than the first time as they made their way to one of the benches near the water. She threw away her cup in the trashcan and sat down next to David.
The sun had gone behind the hill beyond the lake and the sky was shot with pinks, purples and oranges. "The sunset is beautiful, isn't it? The way it reflects off the water," she turned her head from the sky and looked to David. "Thank you for letting me tag along," she said, giving him a smile. "Do you come here when you've got things on your mind?" It was the perfect place to do some thinking, she thought.
