"Yes, most definitely. I'd love to see what you've done," She hadn't met anyone as talented as David when it came to wood carving. Her grandfather had worked with wood, but he'd made furniture. David's work was much more intricate.
She felt the tug on her hair as she smiled at him and reached her free hand up to squeeze his hand before letting go again. "Oh, yeah. It just kinda does that."
The conversation switched again. "Sure, I'd be happy to help," she laughed. And mend, if the case may be. The library and friends made a good combo all of the time. He asked about a Halloween party. "Yes!" she said excitedly. "I talked to Eva about it. Not sure when it is, but we're definitely having a party." She nudged his arm firmly with hers. "Any idea who or what you'd want to go as?"
