Re: Tuesday, 9-19-2017
The day was warmer than it looked like it should have been. It felt like summer, but the lighting looked autumnal to Soph's eyes. She made her way with purpose to the fountain and found David standing there. Her hand moved up and waved in greeting before she reached him.
"Hi, David!" she grinned at up at him as she took the coffee. "Oh, thank you." She hadn't expected a gift such as this. Maybe it was lucky she had animal crackers in her bag?
They'd made their way beyond the labyrinth and towards the lake. A few of her strides were one of David's, but they kept the same pace. She'd told him about the excitement of her day. Luckily, the only patient she'd seen had been one of the younger students with a jammed finger. Easy fix.
"How about you?" Soph asked after she took a drink of her coffee. He'd gotten it perfect. Mostly cream and sugar...very little coffee. "How's everything at the shop? Mr. Marshall doing okay?"
