Re: Zap / Colossus | 9-27-2017
After Piotr dug in, she relaxed more still. "Hi," Zap said as she climbed to sit next to him in her bed. She leaned back on the pillows but left her feet dangling from the side, knees bent. She eyed the Russian next to her until he spoke, at which point she lowered her gaze. "Selfish reasons," the electrokine admitted, both to him and to herself.
"We weren't together for a long time, you and I, but we both had this feeling that we weren't done for good, right? That's how I see Ronan, too, but it's... intensified. It's like," her eyes widened to let on that she knew she was being a crazy person, "he's mine. And to some extent, I felt the same way about Kitty. But deep down, I just didn't want to admit that he could move on. I was embarrassed last night - to be near you. I don't like it, but that's how I felt. I don't think he has moved on, honestly. I just know that you are good and I'm lucky that we," she scooted closer, "are right here, right now. Together." She kissed Piotr's temple and then stole his bite from his fork.
She spoke around her mouthful of waffle, "Frick, that's good."
