"Zap's right; you always bring up malaria." Lorna rolled her eyes, but grabbed a cookie. "That's delightful." She told the Native inventor and took several more from the pack, despite the judgement that came from Jon's eyes. "What? I'm going to share with Morgan. And when is malaria season in the jungle anyway?"
"It's always malaria season in the jungle." Forge abandoned the Oreos back on the desk. "Hey, if you see Troy or Jimmy with something they probably shouldn't have, let me know." The Native instructed Polaris, then continued on to his next stop.
"That's a little vague." She called out to Forge while he exited. She nibbled on another cookie. "Always malaria season in the jungle." She mocked the older man, and only flinched a little bit when his head reappeared in the doorway.
"I heard that." He smirked, then disappeared again.
"Good!" Lorna shot back, face contorted into the most unpleasant expression she could think of. It was one Kellan had particularly enjoyed the last time they'd played together. She thought about taking another cookie, but decided against it, then promised herself one or two of them in her hand would make it to Morgan.
