"Thanks," Jane smiled gently. Natasha had a very elegant, yet direct way of talking. Jane liked that, she didn't appreciate people who pussyfooted around topics. She wasn't good at it herself, but she had, what she described as, a skill at identifying people who could. As a physicist, she liked problems and answers, but she needed information. You can't solve an equation without all of the variables. "I hope so," she sighed, taking a long slurp of her coffee. "I guess I should get started on reading up on who I'll be working with and stuff. Can't keep off-loading on you, my newest friend," Jane joked, raising her mug like a toast with a grin before taking a drink from it.
