So, for anyone keeping track at home: don't get a concussion, it sucks.

But all is pretty much well again and I can look at screens to my heart's content which is great because I'm so behind on work that I'm thinking about skipping sleep for the rest of the month, or maybe just coming up with a time-stopping freeze ray. If you need me for something in the near future, do me a favor and don't need me (unless it's to save the world).

I've been having lots of fun playing with all the variables we talked about previously, for my little project. That, plus some pretty fantastic Attilan tech info I have is -- well. I think it'll work. I've email you the info/notes. Take a look when you get some free time?

TFW you suddenly realise you've been working on a piece for five hours and you're starving. Productive and kind of annoyed at having to stop while at the same time trying to figure out whether it's faster to cook something or find the nearest cafe.

Meanwhile I have three different galleries to be at after visiti between six and eight on Thursday, so at least there's that. Starts to feel normal again.

I suppose it's true what they say, coming home after a stretch of time really is a relief. As vibrant a city as Tokyo is, it just doesn't measure up to New York. I love being able to see the city from the sky too.

And it's good to see that no one has been trying to blow it up recently, there's not even that many demolition areas. Which is surprising.

I'm landing in an hour. I have a meeting with the Technical Support Specialist for the troubleshooting system for the final project performance and then I'm taking two days to get back onto this timezone and reacquainted with what's been going on here.

I, uh, don't know what people are up to this weekend but my art class is having a family and friends showing Labor Day Weekend. If you're interested you can come see some of the art I've been working on this semester.

If you'd like to come let me know and I'll give you the details. And if you want any of the art pieces just let me know. I'll make sure you get them after they've gotten their final grade.

I just heard of the article in the gossip column from this morning.

Nothing says "welcome home" quite like poorly-spelled death threats painted on bricks thrown at my head. Regarding which, I appreciate the effort and planning put into this attempt at intimidation, but the execution was severely lacking. It's as though the good people of Fermont forget what my mutation actually is.

This town is terrible. I do not recommend it to anyone, and I will be back in New York as soon as I have fulfilled my obligations here. Back to my nefarious gay mutant agenda of planning French lessons, running my company, and attempting to teach children not to fly into walls. Tremble, humans.

That irritated feeling you get when someone attempts at doing a job placed before you. I can't say I'm not amused at all. It was humorous.

It also seems like people favor the color red. I prefer my red to be a shade of dark crimson.

My new favourite thing might just be sitting in cafes watching videos of current Olympians as <10 year olds. Adorable. But watch out if you're wanting to get anything done near Madison Avenue near the square today. The India Day Parade is pretty crowded, I'm just steeling myself to try to navigate to saner pastures.

I guess one of the good things of having your apartment and belongings all shot up is that when you do finally get into a new apartment, you don't really have a lot to move or unpack. Here's to today's bright side!

I suppose it's time for me to come from out of the woodwork and say hello. It's daunting figuring out when or how to start an introduction. Seems like a lot of people already know one another. Maybe someone I know will pop up.

Your body armor is ready.

This week is giving me emotional whiplash. It seems wrong for so much violence to take place when the world should be coming together to celebrate our achievements. It's been a long time since I was actually surprised by the depths of some people's hate, but it's a disappointment.

Not even back a day in the city and I already got catcalled.

So much for progress, huh, NYC?
