She laughed as he changed their positions, holding on his waste as leaned down to kiss her. She didn't hesitate to return the kiss eagerly. After about two seconds, she decided to go ahead and let him have this one.
It wasn't that she was hard up for physical contact after just a few days; it was more that it still felt very unusual for her not to be close to him. They'd been together for a few years now, and were partners for years before that. For the first year of that partnership, all of her missions were carried out with him by her side. He'd become a permanant, prominant fixture in his life, and going without him for very long was something that she couldn't quite adjust to.
Two or three years ago, this development would have upset her; made her feel weak. Hell, when she'd first noticed it, it did. But she'd come to accept that she was not the person that she used to be and that connections were not something that needed to be either restricted or eliminated all together. Not when they were with someone that you trusted implicitly.
"Okay; 0-1." She said finally, smiling up at him before rolling from underneath him and standing again. She couldn't say that she took their bets seriously, but she did always make sure that they completed them. It was only right.
This time, she led, aiming a left to his abdomen, intending to follow it up with a quick knee to his kidney.
