Tabitha nodded absently, eyes glued to the room in front of her. "Thanks. I'm- uh. I'm sorry for being all gross and stuff, I just - they're basically like my family, you know? and I kind of really fucked up and pushed them away and now it just looks like they're gonna die without me even telling them sorry." She hadn't had anyone to talk to about things for almost a month now; could people really blame her for unloading on the first person she saw?
Laura seemed fine, anyway. Like she really wanted to help. Maybe she'd understand and not think that Tab was a total weirdo. Really, though, at this point, how weird she looked didn't even matter. "But, uh. Thanks for that. I'm glad. And thanks for being so cool about all of this.
