When the government announced that the SHRA law had been amended, there was a tremendous amount of relief that went with it. For Pepper, with less than a month to go until her wedding, this was a good feeling. It meant Tony had one less crisis to deal with. Not that he didn't have a phenomenal amount of work to do anyways, same as herself, but at least this headache, minus the always ongoing tensions and aftermath, could be laid to rest. And that was worth celebrating.
Pepper knew that Emma was devious enough to throw in a few engagement congratulations even though both herself and her fiance had insisted they didn't need to be spoiled in such away. That was okay, as long as everyone knew that Tony and Matt were the guests of honor. Nobody else had been willing to pick up the fight and they deserved the praise more than anyone she knew. Not to mention, everyone needed just needed a little time to decompress and Pepper was glad she didn't have to be the one planning it.
She chose a little black dress and silver strappy heals, her hair was partly up, the rest falling down her back in shiny red curls. Emma chose a perfect venue and everything looked great.
