Johnny had quietly left the campus days ago, striking out on his own and moving from place to place. He didn't want to lay any roots or be close to anyone if things continued to feel out of his control. The drifter life didn't seem uncomfortable to him, being on the move and not staying long enough to call a place home felt more like a home than any building could be for him. The strange dreams continued, filled with a cold desire for power and domination. It began to feel as if there were something within that was coiling itself, storing energy and building strength before a strike - and that scared him enough to leave the group out of fear that he might be putting others in danger.
After a back and forth communication with Betsy, Johnny traveled to the remains of the collapsed building that had nearly taken all of them out with it. That first night in this place had been a harsh welcome to their current situation. Crash Course for Hell 101. Blue eyes scanned the wreckage that had collapsed over surrounding buildings and he placed a booted foot on part of a wall, pushing himself up and turning so that he was sitting on top of it and taking advantage of the shade offered by the surrounding wreckage. Squinting, he looked out into the blaring sunlight outside of this pocket of shade, looking for Betsy to arrive and help him figure out what exactly was going on with him.
He had a strange feeling then that he wasn't alone and it made the heat of the day seem to drop in temperature along with making the hairs on his neck and arms rise up. He shiver despite the head and glanced over his shoulder, almost expecting someone to be there but when he looked there was nothing.
If it was bad, he was prepared to tell Besty to do what needed to be done.
