It had been a long day. Between searching for this and that other missing persons, Johnny's mind kept going back to Torunn's loss of Sif. Despite being incredibly skilled in battle and seeming to have enough energy for ten regular girls her size, he worried that she was already spreading herself too thin, and now someone that she had a fondness for was gone. Nate and Sif? Why them? People liked them and felt a connection with them. People he cared about.
The search with Sue and Torunn had come up empty so far. Between the three of them - not to mention others who had helped before and Betsy attempting to find Sif via whatever it was that she used - it looked like Sif had vanished much like many of the others. Still, Johnny tried to keep an optimistic view as he landed back in the intersection of 10th Ave and W 28th St, right next to a small, decaying park. This was where they had planned to meet up once it was clear that the sun would begin setting within the next hour, and they'd combed through most of the streets in the city.
His clothes were stored back at campus but there was no need to retrieve them until they were officially done, and Johnny had a feeling that Torunn would need a boost before going back "home" without her friend. His expression, though made of plasma was one of distress and concern until he heard movement behind him, and he immediately flipped the switch as best as he could to offer a small smirk as Sue approached.
"Nothing either?" His flaming eyebrows rose, though it was obvious that he didn't expect to see Sif behind her. Poor Torunn.
