Saying he was in a mood was putting it lightly, not that it really showed. Nate's resting face was grim, his one human eye serious and intense. He wasn't entirely sure who he was irritated at more at the moment, but it didn't matter. The mission mattered. They had an enemy, they were building squads, and they were going to get rid of them. Survive to bicker another day, that was the plan. He technically "moved in" to Hope's dorm, mostly just picking a place and not doing anything else, it wasn't like he had supplies to toss there. Any belongings he had were on his body, including the weapons strapped on him even now. Never knew when a bug might attack.
He was running over his first conversation with Neena and how she warned him the people on the campus were dramatic. How right she'd been. Nate needed to keep his eye on the end result. And that meant meeting with Betsy, coming up with a plan, meeting with the leads and taking that plan to the next level, and then training. It was a process that took time and he wasn't a big fan of waiting around, but he knew it was smart. At this point he still hadn't rested or slept. Too much to do. The weariness didn't take an obvious toll on him, his big and sturdy body giving the appearance of always having it together. He just walked with confidence and climbed the stairs to where Betsy directed him.
The door was already open so he stepped right on in. It was still polite to warn her, even if she could sense his mind. The mind itself was locked tight, but the presence could be felt. He'd met her already at the bug burning, so he didn't need to waste time on pleasantries or introductions. "Betsy, I'm here."
