Even with her reluctance to go through with what would probably be a quick examination, she did acknowledge Dr. McCoy was probably one of the best people for her to interact with. For all his mutation made him look like a giant beast, he was nothing but kind and considerate when it came to dealing with her and her fellow students.
Still, she really, really did not want to do this.
"I don't need an exam, really. I mean, they didn't hurt me physically at all, even if they were mean and kept us in horrible cells for a long time and they barely gave us any food. So, malnutrition at the worst, and that's easily fixed by just eating good, nutritious food!" Megan babbled, unsure why she could not just explain the reason behind her trepidations.
Twisting her upper body back and forth in nervousness, a childhood habit she thought long gone, she bit her lower lip as she waited for Dr. McCoy to respond to her babble. Sometimes, it took a little while for others to catch up with her chatter of words.
