She could not help herself; she released a giant sigh of relief at the site of Mr. Summers there and accounted for. Now maybe she'd be able to pass Calculus.
Or at least, take Calculus.
Following his direction, Megan sat down in one of the chairs, wiggling a little until she got comfortable. Sometimes her wings got in the way when she didn't tie them back, and today she hadn't. Still, she adjusted quickly and pulled her brand new pink planner out of her bag.
"Well, after failing Calculus and Physics last semester, I know that my graduation plans have been pushed back. Again. And then being late into this semester means its pushed back even more, but I just want to go over where I'm at and what I have to do."
"Not that I hate going to school," she added quickly, not wanting to give him the wrong impression. "Cause I really like it here, and everyone is really nice and encouraging and stuff. I just wanna someday graduate and move onto whatever is next. And I'm gonna try real hard! I bought a planner this year and everything. And I have pretty pens to go with it. So I don't lose track of things. Like our calendar. Which we have!"
As it was apparently she actually needed to breath, Megan took a breathe and smiled brightly up at him, waiting for his response.
