Given an option between packing or spending an evening alone poking at electronics, Thor only slightly preferred the electronics; he felt tired and sore enough to really not want to join in the parties that still spilled out over New York's streets. Still, it wasn't as though he had very much to do; in his time here, he had only acquired slightly more possessions than he had to begin with, and all of those could still be stuffed easily into his duffel approximately three minutes before they needed to be leaving. At least the mansion was fairly quiet, and he was more than happy to install himself in the deserted rec room with his own amusements.
SHIELD - or the Air Force, he really couldn't tell which anymore - had never bothered to give him back his laptop, and accordingly, he'd finally been prodded into getting one of his own instead of "borrowing" whoever left theirs unattended for a few minutes. The one he'd settled on was neither "sleek" nor even new, but he was fairly comfortable with its large, solid gray keyboard; he almost thought the thing could be run over (several times) without it breaking, so should stand up to the god of thunder fair enough.
He still wasn't quite sure how to get it to work, but he kept pressing buttons that seemed familiar, splitting his attention between it and the TV, turned to the coverage of the ongoing celebrations after the defeat of Galactus that he was passing on, and he thought he was actually getting used to the thing again. Or, at least, when he pressed buttons that seemed familiar, he got reactions that also seemed familiar. It was a very odd ritual to consult an oracle, but he resolved to not question it.
Besides, with a little work and a few prayers breathed whatever Norse god was taking up technology (unless it was Loki...which would explain a fair bit), he got M*A*S*H playing on the computer. The contrast between the society gossip and the medical-historical-comedy-tragedy might be unusual, but he did enjoy it. Besides, the show was another thing that was familiar, and yet all the jokes and plots were completely new to him. It was quite comforting.
