Namor remained still, his back tall and shoulders straight as he listened to her words. It was making more sense now. The Sea King didn't know much about Weapon X, the organization. It caused his eyebrows to raise when she told him she had been a clone, the 23d clone attempt of Wolverine. So not a sister, then. His female replica. It seemed they had bred better looks, too, though Namor kept that amusing thought to himself.
Jean and Scott's daughter was known to the Sea King. The X-Men were his allies and he was half mutant himself, and though he understood adoption and the fuss Land Dwellers made of the legalities behind it, particularly with minors, he would not personally consider Laura as the daughter of Cyclops. The idea was laughable. If anything, she was the daughter of Logan, created from a part of him like any child, cloned or not.
But all of that mattered very little in that moment. Laura Kinney was built to surpass Wolverine, which meant she could possibly be a challenge to the Namor. But her emotionless expression and the way she delivered her report - because it felt like a report he would receive in his royal court, detailed and facts only - caused some unease in the Atlantean. He was sometimes ruled by his own emotions, but Laura seemed to lack them entirely.
"I see." He spoke with a slight narrowing of his eyes, "You have his claws, then," He guessed. "Come, we'll go down to see how much better than Wolverine you really are."
Turning to take strides for the sublevel access, Namor assumed she would follow, and he led the way to the gym and large sparring area where they could get down to business.
