Monet found herself actually considering Lorna's offer for a moment before her higher brain functions reasserted herself. Perhaps it was a good distraction but did she truly wish to engage in such foolishness where Jubilation could happen upon her at any time?
No. The answer was no.
"Maybe another time," Monet said after a moment's consideration. "I am a bit tired at the moment..." She really was, too. Even just conversing was draining. In fact, she thought maybe it was time to return to her room. She could finish her sandwich, then take a nap.
Decision made, Monet stood. "If you'll excuse me," she said with a quick nod. It was more a statement than a question, so she did not feel the need to await a response. With her plate in hand, she quietly returned from whence she came.
