Reception: Dinner & Mingling: Tony and Steve
Steve stood stock still as he listened to Tony speak. He got it, he did. He just wondered if Tony understood, as well, what he was saying. Bottom line, Steve figured, was that it came down to freedom. Wasn't that the one thing every single one of them wanted?the way Steve saw it, they were all playing the same game.
If anything, I appreciate your honesty, Tony," he said and gave the other man's hand a shake. "And that's all I ask for—is to be honest with each other. And to tell it like it is. Most of the time." His comment about Ororo and his flag pole made him give the older/younger man the side-eye.
"Maybe not so honest," he amended with one of his news-reel-famous Captain America winks. "It was good talking to you, Tony."
