Sightseeing - Kitty and Rogue
"That's my guy," Rogue drawled. "My penal colony hottie," she snorted.
"Yeah, that's the one. Like our football but worse. And more confusing. It could be fun. Ah think anything could be fun after four or five pints."
When Kitty said she had something she needed to ask Rogue, and then suddenly got serious, Rogue felt put on edge. The last time that they had a serious conversation, it involved Scott Summers firing her from the X-Men. The event might have been forgiving, but it certainly wasn't forgotten and its what immediately came to mind when Kitty's tone sobered.
And then she started talking about Bobby Drake. And her. And John. And Kitty and Bobby in a bed. And... Oh, Kitty finally got to the point and Rogue understood what she was asking. A slow grin spread across Rogue's face. "A part of me wants to make you sweat it out. What do you think?" She asked. "What do you think Ah would think?" And deftly put it back on Kitty to respond.
