The vampire had just smacked the woman into the wall but good. Hannibal didn't spend much (any really) time feeling sympathetic about that though, because he was busy scrambling for his stake. The vampire had turned back to Hannibal and gone over and picked up the stake. Stake in one hand, he grabbed Hannibal's jacket with the other, and shoved Hannibal into the wall.
Barring it's teeth the vampire hissed; "Now you can feel what it's like to have this shoved through your-"
Hannibal was working up a quip about bad breach, and vampires, and needing to brush their teeth, trying to ignore the fear he felt at having those teeth so close to him. So close to his neck, when the vampire stopped talking and looked down.
Hannibal looked down as well, staring at the - chair leg? - that was now sticking out of the vampires chest. Damn. Buffy over there had done good.
The vampire had time to look up, before it burst into flame, disintegrating to ash.
