So it was a vampire! Maria was familiar with what most people knew about vampires. Stake in the heart and sunlight. So now that it was confirmed, she knew she was fresh out of stakes and daylight wasn't coming for a few hours. But then he said fire. "Yeah, because I just carry lighter fluid," she muttered under her breath. She looked around for something to hit the thing with. No dice on any fire, but she spotted what looked like a sharpened piece of wood.
Maria went for it but the vampire was fast, turning to hit her hard and she went flying and hit a dumpster. God damn, that hurt. Even if it was two against one right now, she didn't think that this fight was going to last long as it was. Getting into a crawl, she glowered as her hand hit something sharp. She brought her hand up and looked at the blood there.
Shit.
But then she looked down at what cut it. Broken chair leg. Made of wood. Would any good do? She sure hoped so. Grasping it in her hand she did a forward roll and came up behind the vampire again, attempting to stake it from behind.
