Another person popped into the vampire (because really, that's all Maria could think of calling it) and rather clumsily too. Was this supposed to be some sort of rescue? Because so far, this guy was failing. She did wonder if he was an accomplice or maybe just another guy trying to take advantage. She was currently pinned to the wall, a piece of bread in the vampire sandwich that she had no desire to be a part of.
"Jesus Christ," she said and then she kicked at the vampire hard and went to reach for her gun. When the vampire turned to her, she fired two rounds straight between the eyes. She didn't really think vampires existed. Aliens? Sure. Atlanteans? Fine, she could handle that. But blood suckers from the dead? There had to be some myths in the world that weren't actually real!
The vampire fell back only from the force and closeness of proximity. But soon it was getting to its feet and she looked at the other man, her expression demanding an explanation.
