Narrative: Betsy Braddock. WHO: Betsy Braddock MPCs: Amina Synge WHAT: Betsy tracks down someone who might actually know where her brother is. WHEN: Saturday April,27th WHERE: London
Betsy had put feelers out about the whereabouts of Amina Synge months ago. She's surfaced once in Taiwan a couple of months ago, but it was at a time when she couldn't be gone to deal with personal business. She used a couple contacts she had in the area, but she'd disappeared not long after confirming her identity. She hadn't expected her to surface again so close to home.
So Betsy hopped in a car and headed to the address. It was a large hour in outer London. Betsy figured it was her family home. She marched straight up to the door and knocked. She was sure what she was expecting but she was a little shocked when the woman herself opened the door.
"Amina."
The other woman's eyes narrowed a bit. "Elizabeth." She said coldly.
"I need to know if you've se-"
"Why?" She interrupted. "You all have an ugly habit of having him commited."
"He's sick." Betsy bristled. Honestly, Jamie had only been institutionalize three times and his longest stay had been five months.
"He's fine."
"So you've seen him then."
"I didn't say that." She said stepping out of the door and outside. "But you do." She insisted in a way a friend would. A friend that had been told one side of a story.
"It doesn't both you," Betsy said, "that he thinks none of this is real, that it's all in his head and that's why he can manipulate it to his will. It doesn't bother you, that you are probably a figment of his imagination." It was an oversimplification of his thought process, after all he'd shown that he knew the world was real at times, but sometimes he was just more than a little bonkers. She was just hoping that would get to her.
"Haven't seen him." She said with a glare.
"I suppose asking you to contact me if you do, would be a waste of my time."
"What do you think?" Amina replied slamming the door as she went back inside.
