Showing up at his doorstep would be enough of an explanation that things with Kyle hadn't gone well, after all, and that she regretted fighting with her twin. And that she needed him now more than ever. Kyle had abandoned her and it had taken such a blow to her self esteem that her personalities had taken a warp tour to crazy town and she'd woken up somewhere in Quebec on an old mattress with seven other people. And douce mère de Mary de Dieu she had gotten out of there fast. Very fast.
Jean-Paul. She had to find Jean-Paul. She needed him. It was not well understood how twins were drawn to each other. She liked to think her brother and her were special, even in the realm of twins being different than normal siblings. She hated - hated - being away from him for long periods of time. Especially when they had parted under bad terms. Granted, they were both stubborn mules and would never bend their will for anyone else. But for each other, gradually they came around.
The school was the first place Jeanne-Marie checked for Jean-Paul, planning on checking with the Avengers next (both of which she could do in one afternoon at super speeds). Luckily, and surprisingly to her, she was told her twin was not only in residence at the mansion, he had joined the ranks of the X-Men. Without her. Well. Maybe she deserved it. Maybe she was a horrible sister and he deserved nice things in his life. Maybe.
Aurora almost turned away from the school, but she could no more leave her brother on her own will than she could cut off her own arm. That is, not without a lot of pain.
So, rap rap rap against the door to the room she was directed to that Jean-Paul was supposed to be staying in. Aurora bowed her head to look down at her feet, biting her lip between her teeth as she planned what to say to him. Nervously she straightened the hem of her skirt, flicking at a speck of a fuzz and shifting her feet a little while admiring the way the black boots hugged all the way past her knees. She may be coming to grovel and attempt to apologize to her brother, but she'd do it looking gorgeous, merci beaucoup.
And she waited.
