Who: Hannibal (aka Henry Kagle) and Open NPCs: Firefighters (maybe vampires! It is Hannibal and it is a thing with him ...) When: January 28th, 2013 Where: New York City What: Chickens come home to roost man. Hannibal's been using the name of Henry Kagle, and now the vampires have torched "Henry Kagle"'s office. Rating: TBA
Hannibal King was Henry Kagle - sort of. Kagle had an online presence as the guy who ran a 'Supernatural Sightings in New York' blog, and ran a twitter feed but it wasn't Hannibal who did all the writing for that. No, Hannibal and the Nightstalkers all took a turn but it was Hannibal who passed out business cards with the name Henry Kagle on it, and he collected Henry's mail, paid his bills, and had signed the lease for the office that Henry rented. So Hannibal felt sort of attached the guy . . .
So standing outside with a crowd of New Yorker's and watching the office space that he had rented for Henry burn, Hannibal felt - kind of angry. (The anger was also because he had stored some of his things in the office. Some extra furniture, a hat he liked, some books ... some of his records ...).
"Your going to have to move back!"
That was a firefighter, yelling at everyone to stop gawking and move out of the way and let them dor their work. Hannibal considered not moving, but then did as he was told. He was just a bystander here, no need to cause a fuss. Besides, the vampires tended to recruit police officers, lawyers, doctors and the like to be their familiars. Wouldn't surprise him if they had a few firefighters in their pocket, maybe get them to say that the office went up in smoke because of faulty wiring, not because of arson. But Hannibal just had a gut feeling about this - the vamps were closing in. This wasn't an accident, this was them striking back at the Nightstalkers.
