Whilst Sif conversed with her brother, in contrast, Loki slowly stepped forward, smiling a Cheshire grin, which turned sinister when he overheard Heimdall's mention of the 'disturbing' things he'd seen, knowing full well what those things were. He kept a discreet distance, artificially respecting the privacy of brother and sister by stopping several feet away and waiting for them to be finished with their conversation.
Taking Sif's nod as a cue, Loki approached, his eyes remaining locked with Heimdall's golden ones. He paused momentarily before the all seeing sentry of Asgard and quirked his head to the side in a taunting gesture.
"Heimdall," he uttered, keeping his mirth in check. Loki knew how much it disturbed him that he was with Sif, and that alone was a source of glee. It would be a precursor to the reactions of those that were to come. Wait until the All-Father found out, if he hadn't been informed by Heimdall, already.
Loki crooked his arm for Sif to take as the crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The guards standing at the entry gate were so confused at such a contrary site, that they looked at one another before crossing their spears to block the way.
"Loki, son of Laufrey, for they mischief, thou art forbidden passage into Asgard," one of the guards exclaimed.
"Oh?" Loki purred. "And wouldst thou ban entry to my Lady, Sif? Or dost thou not know that I am now her Lord."
"More deceit and lies," the other guard claimed. "This is but an illusion, conjured by thy sorcery! Sif's Lord is Thor, god of thunder!"
