Granted, getting something that would disrupt the relays - shut down the suit without shutting off the power source - was probably sufficiently complicated to keep the techs busy for the next five years. And knowing how Stark upgraded the suit on whims, by that time the kill switch would be obsolete. "There's got to be a better way," she murmured. "The techs can have fun with the schematics - keep them out of trouble."
She gave another snort at Agent's Carter's assessment. "Because that worked for the citizens of Rome," she muttered, then continued more seriously, "And that presupposes that the interests are not mutually contradictory - whether in fact or in his own mind. And he seems to have made it very clear that if he is not openly contemptuous of SHIELD, he considers our goals only as they match up with his own, or as are convenient to him."
There was an idea. "Get Potts to convince him that our goals are his goals," she said, which did pretty much sum up Sharon's suggestion. But, hey, flat orders had always been her strong point. Subterfuge had to be someone's special skill in SHIELD. They were only secret agents. Then again, their part of the "secret agent" part tended to be handling things that needed to be secret, but tended to blow into the open anyways.
She couldn't help but smirk back. "When we get a helicarrier, it'll be my first stop," she returned.
