Sofia was having a nice relaxing day. She'd spent most of it curled up in the study, reading. Chris was over at the Avenger's Mansion, and her father had decided to take her mother on a romantic getaway to a honeymoon dimension. So Sofia was enjoying having Sanctum Sanctorm to herself.

That was, she was enjoying it until she heard a loud blast from outside. ....And smelled the distinct scent of brimstone. And the scent of brimstone was never really a good thing. Sofia rushed out of the study, and outside.

...Where she saw an army of demons attacking the area around Sanctum Sanctorm. And heading towards the sanctum, leading the army...

"Blackheart," Sofia said, summoning mystical bolts and sending them towards the demon. "I don't know how you got here, or what you want, but I'd suggest crawling back into whatever filthy pit of hell you crawled out of." She narrowed her eyes in disgust.

She could hold him off and drive him back into the portal that he and his army were pouring out of.

...She hoped.

Bram was in New York City having just finished up some business a bit earlier than expected having killed a den of Vampires he found out about in the area causing some trouble. The had not be very smart so he had taken them out a lot easier than expected. As such he found himself with a rare free night.

Not exactly sure what to do with it he decided to call up someone he knew lived in the area, Sofia.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Varnae had been back for almost a month now and had gotten himself fairly adjusted to the time now. He was also very disappointed with his chosen heir Dracula for allowing the Monseti Formula to be used like it had been. He had been lord of the vampires for several millennia and he had kept it hidden and from use all that time and in Dracula’s short reign he had allowed it to be casted and farther more allowed several mortal families to greatly hinder him. Those Van Helsings and Harkers and a few others. He would have had them wiped from the face of the earth within one generation not had them going for at least four.

Varnae had been keeping a eye on things while he built up his power and created more vampires to serve him. He had one keeping an eye on the home of Doctor Strange who had cast the accused Monseti Formula and wiped all of his children out. He was waiting for the perfect time to take that threat out for good.

But he got much more disturbing reports from his scout. Apparently the daughter of this doctor strange and one of those Harkers had been meeting and working on something and it related to the darkhold. He didn’t know what it was about but it wasn’t good.

After building up his forces and using the black dark magics he knew to resurrect some of his favorite of the old bloods of vampires. Varnae made the decision to attack them, all of them, the entire city letting no one be spared. Sure some might attempt to stand against them but they would all fall to his power and that of his races.

Bram had flown into New York City. He had charter a private plane to take him there as fast as it could. Normally he would have just flown commercial but this was far too important to deal with that. He made a few calls so that he just could walk through US customs. It was good to have connections like this.

Bram had the taxi he had taken drop him off not far from his destination and he walked the rest of the way to 177A Bleecker Street.

Going up to the front door Bram rang the door bell hoping to be able to talk to Doctor Strange about what he just learned about the Montesi Formula.

Bram was tracking down a dark Hoodoo zombie sorcerer in the Caribbean. He had been trekking his way through the jungle for hours and was feeling pretty annoyed and grimy. He wasn’t sure if he was getting closer to catching his target or not at this point.

Hacking his way through some vines with his machete Bram heard the buzz of his satellite phone. Not many people had that number and they would only be calling it if there was something really big and important going on that would require his immediate attention.
