"That's why I'm buying you a drink." America passively commented without any real emotion to the words. Obviously Jubilee's advice had been good, otherwise they wouldn't be sitting here right now with America debating why she was subjecting herself to this, and Jubilee... Being... Well... Jubilee. They didn't have a ton in common. They'd hung out a couple times, and while Jubilee was a cute girl, she also was a chatterbox that America just couldn't understand half the time too... Which made her feel.... Out of place. Thankfully though, she'd mostly kept calling Jubilee a huge nerd to herself.
Then came a rather...... Complicated question, and America managed not to choke on the bite of burger she'd just taken... Thankfully.
Clearing her throat, a few more chews was given before the mouthful of food was swallowed, and a big swing of the mixed drink was taken. This was what she'd indirectly subjected herself to. She had no one to blame but herself on this one in the end. Why the hell had she done this again? Some part of her had perceived this as a good idea and...
America sighed after having been peering at Jubilee for a moment, her whole posture seeming to finally give into the idea of actually having to talk.
"She's pretty." A pause. "She's nice." Another beat, and she took another swig of her drink. "Real sweet." Eyes shifted, beginning to roam around the bar some. The fact that she was apparently altruistic to her very core too sure as hell didn't fucking hurt, but that was a story that Jubilee didn't need to know the details of. "Good ideals." That was probably the closest disclosure to the truth of the whole situation she'd be willing to give. Really, the more she thought about it, there was a laundry list of reasons coming to mind as to why she liked Karolina, but.... Well... America really didn't want to come across as the gushing sort. That was reserved for special occasions and people.
