Description: Lorna is not big on uses of her powers in public, but sometimes power usage happens.

"You have to be freaking kidding me." Lorna put her hands on her hips, and narrowed her eyes. She could feel a scowl pulling at her face, and she let out a frustrated sigh. It was just - trash. All over the alley, and the dumpster was right there, and - oh she couldn't even start to think about the recycling issues that were also going on.

Instead she just glared at some of the garbage, and then focused with her powers, and started moving some of the metal pieces of junk into the dumpster. It was just faster this way. And "slam dunking" a metal tin into the dumpster with her powers instead of her hands just felt - more satisfying somehow.

It had become pretty normal for Alex to be in the city on the weekends. Even while he was still attending Xavier's he was somewhere in the area at the end of the week. It had become a time to cool down and get away from some of the things that bothered him with being new to school and dealing with family issues. Luckily, a lot of those things had settled enough for him to be able to better handle and now it was usually leisure time spent getting to know the city better. He especially thought that would be useful since he'd be starting school at Columbia very soon.

His wanderlust took him to a particular street that led him to an alley where someone was cleaning up the trash- only this person wasn't exactly dressed for waste disposal, wasn't using her hands, and had green hair. He stopped and thought about moving on, but instead decided to stay and watch. It wasn't every day you'd see someone using powers like that out in the open. He was sure she was a mutant.
