Tommy wanted to roll his eyes and tell Tabs to check the fridge but she'd just nag him until he did it. He set his lo mien down on coffee table and got up to check the fridge. In a moment, there were an array of opened Chinese containers spread out before them. Hopefully Tabitha would find something she liked there.
"As long as you don't blow them up," Tommy pointed out, gesturing with his chopsticks. They'd paid something for a deposit, he didn't remember, but he really doubted they'd be getting that money back.
The movie came back up but Tommy shifted to get a better look at Tabs. "Hey. It's probably none of my business, but what's up with you?"
It wasn't as if he'd memorized her schedule but for a while Tabitha had been home more often that not. Tommy didn't think it was anything to worry about but if there was something up with her and her BF, he wanted a bit of warning there.
