TONY STARK WISH I LOST A FATHER 3/13/2015 5:01 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF Glittering lights, dazzling models, and surprise movie announcements weren’t the only things shaking up headlines this week at the Paris Fashion Show, celebrities and billionaire playboys were making their presence felt as well, including one Tony Stark. Since the death of his father, Howard Stark, less than two months ago, the heir to the Stark throne has been something of a missing person’s case. Seen only at private parties for big celebrities, and completely void of any sound bites regarding his father’s death. Yet, in Paris, TMZ was able to grab a quick exclusive with the notorious partier, and we asked him about his father’s death and how he was handling it. “I lost absolutely no one,” said Tony, “I never knew him. I wish I lost a father, but frankly I never knew what a father was.” He went on later to say: “The tabloids knew my father far more intimately than I could ever care to know him. Howard Stark was a great man, not a great father… I didn’t lose a damn person. I never had him. You did, the world did, I never did, so you can all do my mourning for me.” Perhaps Tony Stark isn’t the obvious heir the world thought he was, perhaps the younger Stark mourning in his own ways, but it sure doesn’t seem as if that mourning requires any shedding of the tears.</div> |
