Pietro didn't like rules or restrictions. He wasn't much a fan of anything, or anyone, that slowed him down in any way. His twin was the only exception, so far, to that rule. When he'd heard from Jane that Victor was in the hospital it was all he could do to keep himself from simply zooming over there himself and then telling Jane what he saw. It was Wanda's constant reminder that they should try to make friends that had him waiting until he'd make the trip with the girl who'd asked for help.
Now at the hospital, finally, Pietro walked swiftly and without a word to the wing of the hospital that held his injured friend. He may have done a quick run through just to find where the guards were holding up rather than have to ask Jane or anyone at the desk. He valued being a step ahead of others. His pace was slow enough for Jane to keep up, which was too slow for his liking, so he mentally repeated Wanda's constant chastisement to 'be nice'.
Understanding what the guards were saying Pietro turned to Jane and instructed her to let him speak with them, then responded to the guards in Romani, "The American is with me. Pietro Maximoff. I'm a friend of the Ambassador." He returned their look of intimidating menace with one that didn't flinch or fade but spoke clearly that he meant every word he said.
