Mr. Stark,

I won't take up a lot of your time, but I'm officially requesting an extension for my leave of absence until January 20th.

We're on the brink of something big. The Russian Federal Space Agency has asked that I stay on another month to continue research. I realize this is kind of short notice for the school as well as Stark Industries, but I know you, as a fellow engineer, will understand.

How are things with the team? I saw Maddy is taking the initiative as our Team Captain, and that's great!

Some exciting develops have started to show promise on this program I'm assisting in. I'll unfortunately not be able to return to the school until the end of January and I'll be incommunicado until that time. Thank you for being so understanding.
