Description: Jean's throw her a cupcake decorating party for her birthday, with an unexpected attendee.
Rating: PG-13
Jean walked hand-in-hand with John down the Brooklyn street. She had been excited the whole ride over. Not only was it her birthday, but it was her first big outing since the hospital that didn't involve driving around town with John for long periods of time to alleviate her boredom. It was going to be stupendous.
They'd found street parking a few blocks away. She didn't mind the walk. Even out in the boroughs, the City was full of life, and she was just so happy to be alive in the middle of it. They came up to the cake shop where she would spend a few hours with her friends, decorating cupcakes and celebrating the day. She gave John one really good kiss before going inside. He and Lorna had taken the initiative that she couldn't and planned everything for her.
She felt all this love and elation inside of her, and she couldn't wait to see everybody!
