Dr Richards,

I have a bit of an issue regarding my need to stay in contact with water to stay strong. Normally it is not a problem but during the last challenge it came up. Additionally, today when attempting ot assist with Earthquake damage I grew weak far too quickly.

My inquiry is this. Do you think we could develop something that could keep a layer of water against my skin? I believe if anyone could do it it would be you. Please let me know either way.

Has this always occurred? I've only heard the stories of Atlanteans and being that you're a hybrid, of sorts, I would need to study your physiology to gain a better understanding of how this need for exposure to water affects your strength level. For example:

- Does it drive you to the point of losing consciousness from weakness?
- How strong are you under normal circumstances with water contact?
- Does it affect anything besides your strength level? Or are things like agility, endurance, speed, etc., also affected by the prolonged absence to water?

I would be happy to see what I can do to solve this issue you're having, for at least battle situations when your strength is an important survival aspect.

Please stop by my lab at the Baxter Building down the street sometime this week and I'll take a sample and see what I can find. I may involve my colleague, Susan Storm, as she has a natural inclination towards matters of biology.
