Cullen & Open
Cullen didn't know what he was really doing there. He had been drawn to the spot, and as he came to his senses, the reality of it unnerved him. He checked his pockets and found that he had several knives on him. It must have been instinct to grab whatever was on-hand because danger was near. For the first time since his arrival, Cullen was strung like a tight violin.
Glancing around at the group, he wondered why some of them were there. The other young man looked like the wind could knock him flat. Whatever was happening, Cullen was sad that they would probably come back with one less.
"I have to," Cullen said in response, surprised that the words were coming out. It was obvious the statement wasn't for him, but what was the pull he was feeling? Glancing at the blond girl, Cullen's eyebrows sharpened into a V. Something was coming from her and he definitely didn't like it.
