"Yeah, but yer talkin' about being proactive. Tell me again how that is not like Magneto?" She asked. "And what do you plan on doing? Power trainin' is fine and dandy and being ready in case of some emergency is one thing...but how you can exactly be proactive 'bout it and keep it hush hush and shuttin' down your enemies?" Had Scott even thought this through? And since when did she become the voice of reason?
"Ah didn't say you were Magneto. Ah just said you sounded like him. If you were Magneto you'd probably have me tortured in the town square," she said sardonically. Something that wasn't too far from the truth, considering what had happened to Wolverine on Asteroid M that she had been forced to bear witness to.
When he said he wasn't mad, Rogue's mouth twitched into a small smile. That was good. She liked people she could be frank around, who didn't get uppity. Its what made the Hellions such a great team. They hadn't started as friends. They had started because they were on a mission and they all wanted to succeed so no one took anything personally. Somewhere along that way, though, that line got muddled and Rogue had indeed started taking things personally. But that was another topic all together.
"Ah just think you need more clear cut goals," she said with a shrug. "That's my advice. If Ah were you, Ah mean. Me, personally. Ah never plan for anything. Ah just react."
