Hi. This is Ric from the other school. We talked on your birthday? I'm not a stalker or anything, I looked up your last name and figured out your email.

I just wanted to see if maybe I could talk to you. I ~~This weekend was~~ I had a pretty rough time in the challenge. Because of where I was before I came here and what happened to me and all that bad stuff. I was thinking about what you said about not talking about it lets the people who did it win. And I wanted to see if maybe it would help. Or something. I wrote a little to my roommate about it once but it didn't really help. And I thought maybe it would help more to talk out loud/in person/whatever.

But I mean I know you have a lot to deal with and it's probably pretty awful of me to make you think about this stuff. So if it's a bad time for you then whatever, you don't have to, and I'm sorry. But I can come to your school today or tomorrow or whenever, if you're okay with it.

OOC: Ric spent much of the weekend, following his upsetting situation during the challenge, hiding from the world with a pile of blankets and a bunch of comic books in the attic or somewhere else that other people wouldn't look for him. Just so's you know. :)

Hey, no, it is never wrong or awful or a bad time for you to talk. Not to me, okay? I said that I would be here to listen when you were ready, and I meant it. You know I know how hard it is to take that first step, so you wanna talk? You tell me when and where, and I'll be ready.

You sure you can get here? If it's better, I can find a way out there. I'm not that great at it, but I can fly out your way, if you'd be more comfortable. You'd just have to beware of the crashing chick, but then at least you're on familiar turf.

Whatever you want to do, just let me know. There's a lady here - Dr. Carter - if I needed to, she'd help me get out there, or if you needed a ride here, or back, or something.

I know saying 'it's gonna be alright' is like the lamest thing to say ever, so I'm not going to say that. I will say though that I think it's gonna get better. We'll figure it out, you and me, okay?

You're allowed to say no to talking to me, it won't hurt my feelings or anything. And I get it that people need breaks from the depressing stuff. But okay, thanks.

I can get there. I'd rather go to yours than stay here. It I like Professor Xavier, he's really nice about stuff, but I'd just kind of rather be farther away for this so he doesn't, you know, listen in. And there are other telepaths here too. I don't want to think about stuff too loud where they can hear.

I'll take a bus or something. I'm skipping today, so I think I can be at your school by the time you're done with classes. If that's okay with you.

I want to; I promise. If I didn't, I wouldn't be doing it.

No problem, I get needing to get away. There are plenty of places here where we can talk where no one will bother us. I've got long brown hair and brown eyes, but look - if you want, we can meet up in front of the library. It's outside on the ground floor, it's clearly marked and really easy to spot, you can't miss it.

I'll wear my red jacket and I'm usually wearing black sunglasses outside.
