"Oh, of course you find him inoffensive, and friendly." Clint didn't really know were he was going with that, but it was just since Kate liked Chet, or at least found him inoffensive, Clint disliked the guy even more. Because he had to be opposite of Kate obviously. He was acting like a child, but he couldn't seem to stop. Oh yes, the remaining swing lessons were going to be a real treat.
He looked to the front of the class, wishing he could take a chance to put some distance between himself and Kate as he did so. However he was sure Mister "You need to be closer" would be back to make them stand closer together. Dumb girls. No. Dumb Kate and her being all up in his personal space because of her wanting to go to these stupid classes.
"You try not to get your feet in my way." Clint responded to her, and then started with the stepping, moving to the left, and trying to take small and manageable steps as he did so. He might hate this, but he was going to be good at it, and be better then Kate at it. He didn't mean (honest) to slightly increase the pressure on her back as they moved (because he sure as hell didn't want her closer) it was just trying to keep track of his hands and his feet ... and also working on keeping the beat, it was a lot.
