Characters: Jamie Madrox and Jubilation Lee NPCs: Random people. Location:Everywhere off campus. Timeline: November 3rd -- Early Evening. Description: It's a date! Rating: PG
It had been a long while since Jamie had been on an actual date. The last one had to be months ago, which he could barely remember at that point. However, he knew how to act on one. Be respectful and polite, but most importantly to have fun. And that's what he always had with Jubilee. She was always there for him when she needed him, except when he was stuck at Starks after the mission. The time apart made him realize how much he did miss her, and how much he wanted to be near her, even if it was just to make sure that she was okay through everything that was happening around them. Sure, there were a few uncertainties about it all, but after the in dept conversation with Jean, he knew how to approach it all. It wasn't about forgetting. It was about acceptance, which was something that Jamie had to figure out on his own.
It was also one of those times that Jamie wished that he had a car of his own. He was the man. He was supposed to drive! Or that's how he thought it should be. Not that he had a problem with his date driving them around in a vehicle that was adored by flowers. He'd deal obviously as he made a mental note about purchasing a car of his own soon, while they navigated through the streets together. Jamie had been there long enough that he had a duplicate learn each street and location of most, if not all, major places around.
The time in the movie theater was a good one. Jamie mostly kept his hands to himself when it came to watching Wreak-It-Ralph. The only mishap was when he went to grab the popcorn bag and flicked his wrist a little oddly, so part of the contents had dumped out on top of the individual in the seat before them. Yes, only Jamie Madrox could pull that off. The incident quickly subsided with a handful of apologizes, especially since they had already eaten the ones with extra butter that were more so on the top side of the bag.
"The movie was so good! I liked all the references to other video games, and so funny," he said with a smile towards Jubilee as he held the door open for her. It was his intention to lead them back to her car, but then he remembered that there was an arcade close by. It was even walking distance too! Jamie knew that she would like that. "There's an arcade down the block. Just walking distance. You wanna go? I know you totes want to," he added with a playful tone as he held out his hand for her to take a hold of.
