Storm listened to the exchange quietly, leaning back in her chair and never taking her blue eyes off Creed. There was no open hostility in her gaze, but the way her feet stood flat on the ground so she could jump to her feet and how she kept one hand free and on the table, another fighter would have easily recognized she was ready to attack any second.
"I'm sure you won't mind if I come along, Mr. Creed, Mr. Baird?" As far as she knew, Baird was a human, a talented one, maybe, but still a human, and there was the possibility he wouldn't have access to any machines to defedn himself. What Creed said could well be true, but she wouldn't leave a normal man - come to think of it, not a mutant either - alone with unchained Creed.
