"Rest... ? I don't think he would want to rest with an unfinished piece, and in any case his mind could have so much more to share with the world." It was clear that they were arguing from two different point of views. That of a young person, or someone looking into the future, and that of one who feels he has seen enough... might be tired, even, typically someone much older. Once again Kurt recalls that without his illusion, Wyngarde was much older on his world, and wondered if this one was just clouding his image as he did with Kurt.
The teleporter followed quietly, though unable to shake off the thought that Jason was pretending more than he led on. He paused to look at different exhibits, but always caught up again with Jason. Finally, he voiced his thoughts.
"This appearance you gave me, you obviously used the trick before, seeing how easily you modeled it." He kept his tone nonchalant and looked at the cabin, so Jason wouldn't feel pressured to answer the unspoken question. He was, as he had reminded Kurt, a villain, and might not want to share everything. "And you were... a lot older in my dimension, if you don't mind me saying."
