Kurt looked at his hand, for a moment thinking he saw through Jason's disguise as the reality he felt and the reality he saw clashed. There was some feeling in his extra fingers, but it was not enough tot hink of them as part of his body, and beyond their shadow his real fingers were still as thick as before. The second passed, though, as his mind wandered on to the question why Jason would be searching this contact. He had not previously seemed like a man who easily invaded the private space of others. Then there were the compliments, which Kurt had heard from other mutant supremacy supporters who liked his appearance because it was a very obvious physicial mutation. However, it seemed more personal in Jason's case... Kurt decided to keep all that in mind, should it come up again.
"I will wager I don't share most of your opinions about humans," Kurt said, a small smile on his new face and his fingers curling around Jason's for a moment, squeezing. "But your intent is apppreciated."
He followed him up what was a labyrinth of stairs, rooms, hallways and doors, and Kurt staid close by Jason's side so he wouldn't get lost. "Heh? I'm even wearing shoes and don't even feel like I went through Chinese food-binding," he noticed as he marvelled at the illusion once more. And they were normal-sized, too, something his feet only fit in if he tied his toes together. What an elaborate picture Jason could paint...
