Listening to Scott, Kurt developed two separate opinions on what he heard. The first one was mainly shaped by relief: he was happy someone who had seen facts could and would back their mutual friends up. He didn't think the three, Psylocke, Gambit, Wolverine, deserved to be held up as prime examples for X-Men who shouldn't be on the team. They had all put their lifes on the line for the school and their friends and should be treated accordingly - with more respect.
The second voice in his head, however, just told him to quietly go to the back of the room and make sure that the containment field was really, really working one hundred percent, because judging from what he had heard from Creed, he would try to get his hands around Scott's throat right about... now.
Unsurprisingly, that was what happened, thankfully only verbally. "No one said you're a liar," Kurt answered, looking at Scott from the corner of his eyes. "Only that your view is quite subjective. Which to an extent is normal and thus very human, or mutant, if that suits your taste better," the German mentioned, trying to appease the man.
"Also," Kurt wished he could hold this back because it would be more sensible, because it really wouldn't help the conversation, but he couldn't. He remembered quite well sitting on display with the sign reading 'Freakshow' over his head. "I'm not a creation of that sick man Dark Beast, but just because someone has whatever unpleasant to look at as his face doesn't mean they don't want to live."
